Meet Evalyn (Nuggie)

We named Evalyn before we knew she had a diagnosis in her life. Ironically she has lived up to every part of the meaning of her name without being able to have a typical life experience. Evalyn means life, Alaine means beautiful. She lives a beautiful life! Evalyn is the best parts of who we are, she has brought so many incredible people into our lives! She’s every piece of sunshine you can imagine and it’s incredibly challenging to make her mad! She loves to be dipped, danced with, spun around and hugged like it’s the last of her life. She’s happy just being who she is with a lot of love to give! She loves Moana, Sing, things with lights and bells! She LOVES her sisters and spends her free time in their room dressed as a princess, the baby when they play family, playing tea party, and dj, or racing around the house in her box car! Evalyn has given us the best perspective of life and we wouldn’t be who we are without her! What once seems like a terrifying diagnosis turned out to be the biggest blessing we didn’t know we needed!

Although she lives up to her given name, Nuggie was the name she responded to first. Her tiny stature and displaced radial heads make the perfect physical representation of her nickname! She will greet you with all the smiles if you shout her nickname!
