Meet Evalyn (Nuggie)

We named Evalyn before we knew she had a diagnosis in her life. Ironically she has lived up to every part of the meaning of her name without being able to have a typical life experience. Evalyn means life, Alaine means beautiful. She lives a beautiful life!

Evalyn is the happiest little soul we’ve been blessed to parent. She is an adrenaline junkie and an opinionated little toddler who knows she runs the show! When you hold her she loves to melt into your shoulder and just started to give mama all the kisses! She seeks adventure in life and doesn’t like to be home all day! She loves to get all the attention and affection and give it to you all the same. If Nuggie doesn’t want to do something you’re not going to make her! She’s endured so much in her little life but everyday with her is like waking up to the most beautiful sunrise. She has this infectious, silly soul that just has a way of making any bad day a good one with her big smile. :)

Although she lives up to her given name, Nuggie was the name she responded to first. Her tiny stature and displaced radial heads make the perfect physical representation of her nickname! She will greet you with all the smiles if you shout her nickname!
